None of your business

Have you ever noticed that people, particularly other women will give unwarranted advice about your appearance? Last year, I went on a low cholesterol diet, the result of which was lower cholesterol (well done me) and a little weight loss. I didn't lose a lot of weight, but enough that it's also had a positive impact on my arthritis. The thing is, now every woman I know wants to tell me I'm too skinny and need to start eating....what is that? I'm perfectly healthy sized, and I eat (just more vegetables now-that's supposed to be good right?)...and really my weight is no one else's business. What do you suppose that's about? I have my guesses, and I wish the other women in my life would accept me as I am, I accept me, I accept you. Let's all love each other...ooh, hold on, here comes another Freddie quote, "Why can't we give love?"

You are NOT too skinny. You look great. I envy your figure, particularly your long legs. People telling you that are probably jealous and wish they were as thin as you. Don't listen to them!!

Thank you ladies! I didn't talk about my weight to get praise, although I appreciate the feedback! I think women have been conditioned to compete and this is often where that comes from. From my perspective, we are all so beautiful, regardless of ridiculous societal standards! I just wish every woman could feel beautiful as she is and we should lift each other up as the fabulous creatures we all are!

Great style, I love that skinny belt!
I think that other people (mostly women) make comments like that because they either consciously or subconsciously don't want you to succeed since your success could potentially threaten them. Either way, fabulous job you for getting great results in spite of less than encouraging advice.
Warmly,
